Last week @school

 During the last week of the teaching practice phase 2, the student-teachers had many good experiences in the school. 

On 31-07-2023, I took classes in 9.Aand thus completed my 30 lesson plans. On 1st August 2023, I provided diagnostic test for the students of class 9A.

On 2nd August 2023, there was morning assembly in the school. The assembly was organized and conducted by the Hindi club students. The assembly was based on the famous Hindi poet and writer "Premchand". The students presented the assembly in a well organized manner. The assembly ended at 10.00AM. Thereafter, the regular classes started. At 10.30 AM, there was a flag hoisting ceremony under the SPC of the school. The Ayiroor SP hoisted the flag. It was followed by an awareness class on Road Safety by the MVD for the SPC students. The student-teachers also attended the class. The class was very informative. At 3.30PM, there was an inauguration function of the " Karuthal program". The program aims at making the students at upper primary sections who don't know the basics of language, Mathematics etc learn it and bring them at equal pace with the other students.

On 03-08-2023, I took my innovative lesson on class 8C The topic was "thinakal" and I delivered the content through story telling method. The students listened to the story attentively and they were able to understand.

On 4th August, 2023, it was our last day of the teaching practise. As such, we distributed sweets to the students as well as teachers as a token of love. At 1.00PM, we had a meeting with the school HM, and senior teachers. In the meeting, the teachers shared their feedback regarding the student-teachers. The student-teachers were also given an opportunity to share their experiences at the school. The meeting ended at 2.00PM. 

The second phase of the school internship programme was really a wonderful experience for all the student-teachers. I got the opportunity to learn about many things regarding different aspects of the professional teaching.
